Since 1999 we have partnered with the DMV Business Partner Automation Program – BPA and we issue California vehicle license plates, stickers and registrations. In 2003 we were one of six registration services chosen by the DMV to participate in a special IRP PILOT program. Finally in 2011 we entered into the Bonded Web User - BWU program; allowing us to issue INTERSTATE Apportioned Plates, stickers and cab card registrations the same day “ON THE SPOT.”
All IRP Member Jurisdictions will be implementing “Full Reciprocity” for the International Registration Plan (IRP). The new rules will apply for registration periods beginning 1/1/15 or later. Cab-cards will list all jurisdictions enabling carriers to operate without the added expense of adding jurisdictions or of buying trip permits. Each IRP renewal fee will be charged based on the fleet’s actual reporting period distance.
The best advice regarding audits is: ODOMETER, ODOMETER, ODOMETER and FUEL RECEIPTS! Auditors are looking for ODOMETER READINGS, please keep odometer reading for all vehicles and all trips, and as far back as Prior four years (if your company has been established since that date!) State Audits are on the increase, so please keep your records organized.

If your vehicle is over CGVW of 55,001 lbs the 2290 tax must be paid. The reporting period is July 1st –June 30th and must be paid by August 31st to avoid penalties and interest charges.
IFTA Decals, NM and OR mileage permits are on an annual calendar renewal and must be renewed by December 31st The quarterly reports must be filed up to date, accounts must in a good status or the renewals will NOT be processed. The NY mileage permit renews every three years. The only permit that has a grace period is IFTA; you have until 2/28 to display the new decal. Remember: keep the quarterly filings CURRENT and keep track of your mileage by Odometer reading!
Remember to file quarterly Mileage/Fuel Reports (IFTA, NM, NY, OR and KY) by the end of the preceding month for every quarter; avoid costly penalties, interest and delays: 1st quarter by April 30th 2nd quarter by July 31st 3rd quarter by Oct 31st 4th quarter by Jan 31st
